I work with small groups of children in the first & second grade. They need extra help with their reading. I try to reinforce the work done by the teachers. We try to find their individual needs & encourage them to do their best. With proper motivation, we see progress & their enjoyment of reading increases. It is rewarding work for me as I see this growth in the children I LOVE!!
We look for improvment in phonics skills, comprehension skills, & fluency in oral reading.
